What can I do to keep autographs from washing out of my jeans?

How do I keep an autograph on a shirt?

I got a shirt signed by Jack’s Mannequin, but it was autographed in permanent marker on the screen print of the t-shirt. Is there anyway to perserve this or at least keep the autograph on there for a while?
